Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi) is about to be auctioned in the UK. An amount of more than five crore rupees is expected to be collected through this auction. Mahatma Gandhi’s items to be auctioned include his loincloth, wooden slippers and his last photograph taken during his life. According to the Daily Mirror report, a total of 70 things related to the Father of the Nation will be auctioned. Some of these things are associated with Mahatma Gandhi, while some were used by him. It also includes letters written while in jail.

East Bristol Auctions is confident that about five crore rupees will be easily collected in the auction. This auction house had earlier auctioned the glasses of the Father of the Nation in the year 2020 for more than Rs 2.5 crore. “These items are really some of the most important things I’ve ever seen at an auction,” says auctioneer Andrew Stowe. This collection is very important for the history of our world. It will really shake people up. The best thing in this is that picture of Gandhi ji, which is believed to be the last picture taken during his life.

Gandhi’s picture is the most special among the things to be auctioned

Actually, this picture has been taken at the exact same place where Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated three weeks later. The chair on which he is sitting in this picture is the same chair on which he was sitting on the day of his murder. Andrew said, ‘This is a very special item, which will easily be auctioned for up to one lakh rupees.’ He said, ‘We believe that this photo may have been taken by Gandhi’s personal doctor and it is a matter of thinking that this may be the last known picture of him, which was taken before he was shot.’ This unseen picture was taken in 1947 at Birla House in Delhi. In this he is sitting on a chair.
