West Bank will be closed

Israeli media quoted officials as saying that two attackers were involved in the incident and that police were still searching for them. He has appealed to the people to avoid going to the affected area and report any suspicious vehicle or person on sight. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz has ordered the closure of the West Bank to prevent Palestinian citizens from entering Israel. This order will be effective till Sunday and it was issued even before the start of the Independence Day holidays.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that US officials strongly condemn the attack in Ilad. In a statement, Blinken said, “This is a horrific attack targeting innocent women and men and very heinous, as it was done at a time when Israel was celebrating its Independence Day.” “We are in contact with our Israeli friends and partners,” he said. We stand in solidarity with them.
