It has been said in the guidelines that 7-day quarantine is mandatory for passengers coming from high-risk countries. The government has decided to intensify surveillance and containment efforts by tracing and quarantining the primary and secondary contacts of Covid infected persons.
The circular issued by the health department for international travelers states, ‘International travelers coming from high-risk countries like China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand to remain in home quarantine for 7 days after arrival. Will happen.’ At the same time, according to the guidelines issued by the Central Government, negative report of RT-PCR has been made mandatory for passengers arriving in all international flights from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand from today.
RT-PCR report will be required less than 72 hours
On 30 December, the Ministry of Civil Aviation issued revised Covid guidelines for passengers arriving on international flights, stating that RT-PCR reports should be received within 72 hours from the start of the journey. Two percent random checking of passengers arriving in every international flight will also continue. These decisions have been taken in view of the increasing cases of corona infection in all parts of the world.

Corona death rate in India is 1.19 percent

The daily infection rate was 0.12 percent, while the weekly infection rate was recorded at 0.15 percent. The number of patients under treatment is 0.01 percent of the total cases, while the national recovery rate has increased to 98.80 percent. The number of people recovering from the infection has increased to 4,41,44,029, while the death rate has been recorded at 1.19 percent.
