The Oslo Treaty, which came to be known as the Oslo Accords, was actually a variant of the two agreements that were signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The Oslo I Treaty was signed in the White House in 1993 in the presence of the then US President Bill Clinton. Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestine’s first President Yaris Arafat reached the White House to sign it. It was under this treaty that the PLO was recognized. There was a secret meeting in Oslo
Oslo Accords was started after a secret meeting in Oslo, the capital of Norway. In this secret meeting itself, Israel recognized the Palestine party PLO. Representatives of the PLO were also present in that meeting. After the Oslo Accords, Palestinian authorities were given the freedom to determine the extent of their rule over the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. At the same time, the PLO was considered as the partner of Israel that would be involved as a representative of Palestine in settling the remaining disputed issues. The PLO is currently ruling Palestine.

The biggest dispute between the two countries is regarding the boards. Apart from this, there is often a dispute about the presence of Israeli military in the remaining border even after the recognition of Palestine, located in Jerusalem, after the recognition of Palestine and the return of those parts of Palestine.
