Iran claims to have arrested 10 foreign spies amid rising tension with Israel

इजरायल के साथ बढ़ते तनाव के बीच ईरान ने किया 10 विदेशी जासूसों को गिरफ्तार करने का दावा

Tensions have been going on between Iran and Israel for a long time.

Iran has arrested 10 people in a southern province on charges of being linked to foreign intelligence services. IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency) said in a news on Tuesday that Iran’s intelligence agency arrested 10 people after “state-of-the-art and continuous surveillance” in Bushehr province. However, Iran did not name the countries to which these suspects belong.

The dialogue committee pointed to Iran’s enemies Israel and the US, saying these 10 people worked for “regional countries” whose intelligence services posed as allies or behind the scenes of intelligence agencies of “enemy countries”. Has worked for them. It has been told in the report that these 10 people were Iranian expatriates in these regional countries.

Mossad agents were arrested in July

Iran said in July that its authorities had arrested members of a group linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency amid ongoing water shortage protests in the country’s southwest. Iran said in 2019 that it had arrested 17 Iranians on charges of spying on the country’s nuclear and military sites for the CIA. He told that some of them were sentenced to death.

Recently, Iran had raised strong objections to the friendship between Azerbaijan and Israel. Iran’s foreign ministry said it had serious concerns about Israel’s presence in the Caucasus. Some media reports have even claimed that Iran has closed its airspace for Azerbaijani military aircraft. Iran’s major concern is the presence of Israeli weapons near its border.

Tensions rising with Israel

This news from Iran has come at a time when its tension with Israel is increasing. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Tuesday appealed to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to take action on Iran for increasing its nuclear program. Bennett said this at a conference in Jerusalem where he suggested that Iran’s conduct is a problem for every country and subject to global accountability.

Iran has violated the limits set by the deal after talks between Tehran and world powers to restore the stalled nuclear deal earlier this year failed to reach any conclusion. He is enriching small amounts of uranium to the nearest level of weapon-making purity and is steadily increasing his stockpile.
