India’s Foreign Secretary Vinay Kawatra in the UN Security Council said that those who give safe haven to terrorists as well as those who stand with them and come to their rescue.

India has once again lambasted Pakistan and China on the issue of terrorism on the international stage. Indian Secretary to the United Nations Security Council Vinay Kawatra Pakistan and China Pointing out that we should work globally to stop terrorism. He urged the international community to summon those who provide safe haven to terrorists and come to their rescue over UNSC sanctions. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kawatra said this while participating in the open debate of the 15-member Security Council, chaired by Ghana. The theme of the meeting was peacekeeping and lasting peace.
Kawatra said, there is a need for a united voice from the international community against the threat posed by terrorism. We must strengthen the capabilities of the host country’s security forces, join hands to prevent terrorist forces access to financial resources and collectively summon those who provide safe havens to terrorists as well as those who accompany them. Stand up and come to their rescue.
Foreign Secretary meets UN Secretary General
India’s Foreign Secretary Vinay Kawatra met top UN leaders including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and discussed troubling issues. Kawatra also met the President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Saba Korosi, and they discussed the PGA’s priorities for the session and India’s participation in it. India’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations tweeted on Thursday, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kawatra met UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to discuss troubling issues.
Pakistan’s pole opened before
Kawatra also talked about peace operations during this period. He said that around 5800 Indian personnel are working in various operations across the world to protect peace. All of them are working in 9 out of 12 active peacekeeping missions of the United Nations. At the same time, during the meeting of the UNSC, India had exposed Pakistan’s pole regarding the terrorist attack on Mumbai. During that time an audio clip was played by India in front of the international community, in which a terrorist sitting in Pakistan was talking to the terrorists involved in the attack and giving them instructions.
