It is learned that Biden told Ghani that the US would provide assistance if he (Ghani) made a plan against a Taliban attack.
Advised to hold press conference
Biden also advised Ghani to make a military strategy and the then Defense Minister General Bismillah Khan Mohammadi should be made the warrior of this plan. He said that he (Biden) is not a military person, so he (Ghani) cannot give any advice on military strategy. As the Taliban were increasing their lead and capturing districts one after another, Biden told Ghani that he should hold a press conference of Afghan politicians to present the perception of Afghanistan to the world.
Biden praises Afghan army?
According to the report, Biden praised the Afghan armed forces, saying, ‘You clearly have a good army. You have an army of 3 lakh soldiers, which is capable of fighting 70-80,000 Taliban fighters. We will continue to struggle diplomatically, politically and economically to ensure that your government not only survives but survives and moves forward.
