Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) CID and Railways Brahmdutt Dubey said, ‘After coming to know about the incident through the media, I have ordered an inquiry and took up the entire matter with the Deputy SP of our Anti-Human Trafficking Cell. In this case, Gandhinagar Superintendent of Police Tarun Kumar Duggal also started a separate investigation to trace the victim’s family. Duggal said “News reports suggest that the deceased was a native of Uttar Pradesh or Delhi and had settled in Kalol with his family. We have formed a team to trace the victim’s family. So far, his family has not approached the police in any case.”
