After the vote, the speaker of the National Assembly, Yael Braun Pivet, said that the failure of the opposition’s no-confidence motion means that the pension bill has been adopted by the parliament.
Opposition still has a chance
After the failure of the motion of no confidence in the Parliament, the law has got the green signal to a large extent, but the opposition still has one chance left to appeal and that is the appeal in the Constitutional Council. The opposition is now planning to appeal to the Constitutional Council to block the implementation of the law.
