Police are urging New York residents to keep away from Manhattan’s Union Square after an enormous crowd gathered for a reported gaming console giveaway by YouTuber Kai Cenat.
There had been chaotic scenes as 1,000 folks crammed into the park forward of an anticipated look by Mr Cenat at 4pm.
Images on social media confirmed fights breaking out, folks throwing objects and tearing down boundaries.
An NYPD spokesperson mentioned there had been no arrests or accidents reported.

Mr Cenat, 21, a YouTube star and live-streamer who has 6.5 million followers on Twitch, posted a video from the centre of Union Square surrounded by a whole bunch of followers clamoruing for a photograph.

CBS News confirmed reside video footage displaying a number of folks had climbed onto a roof on the entrance to Union Square.
