He said that this baby birth is for the convenience of women who are traveling with their babies. The fitted baby seat is foldable and fully secured with a stopper.

The baby berth can also be folded and the seat can be raised and lowered as and when required. This facility is available in the lower seats. Railways has just installed this special berth in a compartment on trial basis and they are waiting for the feedback from the passengers for the same.

The North Western Railway zone of Indian Railways has announced the introduction of monthly season ticket facility in a total of 178 trains. With this, passengers will no longer need to buy tickets by standing in long lines every day and they will be able to travel in the train for a month by buying monthly tickets only in one go. For the convenience of the passengers, North Western Railway has issued the names and numbers of all the 178 trains in which monthly ticketing facility is being started for the passengers.
