As Amazon expands its delivery network in the country, its Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program is getting new people to join. Amazon is partnering with small and medium-sized businesses through this program to make delivery of goods to every remote person. These small business owners will also get the support of more than 20 years of Amazon operational experience, best-in-class technology, and customized services and technology to deliver Amazon packages safely.

Maanvi Dhawan, 44, a Noida-based entrepreneur and Amazon delivery partner, is one such entrepreneur. She was a working professional till 2013, but left her job to take care of her daughter. In the year 2020, he decided to start his career again. Meanwhile, he came to know about Amazon’s Delivery Service Partner Program. After this he approached Amazon and applied to become a DSP. He started Saima Enterprises in January 2021 with a delivery station at Panchkula. Today, in a short span of 15 months, Maanvi is now handling eight delivery stations and providing job opportunities to hundreds of Delivery Associates.

Regarding this, Maanvi said, for me, financial independence matters and that is why I decided to start my career again after 7 years. I threw myself in this work and worked very hard. The progress I have made in the last 15 months would not have been possible without Amazon’s support.

Maanvi aims to expand its business in different geographies and make people’s lives more convenient in the next few years. She also wants to set up her own system to give women an opportunity to make a career in the field of logistics.

In the year 2021, Amazon started the Delivery Service Partner (DAP) program in India. Those people can also join under this program, who have less experience in this field. More than 300 entrepreneurs have joined the program in India, handling more than 1,500 delivery service partner stations in 750 cities and towns.
