Normally, this link should open the Settings page of WhatsApp, but currently, it is causing crashes on Android devices.

According to the report, opening a chat with this link causes WhatsApp to crash, but the app restarts after some time, unless you visit that particular message thread again. The bug is affecting WhatsApp 2.23.10.77 for Android, although it may be affecting other versions as well.

If you are also facing a similar problem then there is an easy solution. The browser version of WhatsApp, WhatsApp Web, is not affected by this bug. Therefore, you can log in to WhatsApp Web through your browser and delete the crashed message or chat. After that, your WhatsApp on your phone will not crash until you find that problematic link again. Apart from this, you should update your WhatsApp from Google Play Store.
