oneplus (OnePlus) Former CEO of Carl Pei’s Nothing (Nothing) Going to launch its first phone soon. The phone, called the Nothing Phone (1), is now expected to arrive in early June. The product page, which doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming smartphone, is live on Flipkart. Earlier, Pei revealed that Nothing Phone (1) Will be equipped with Qualcomm’s system-on-chip and will come with Nothing OS on top. Carl Pei said at an event, “Raising $144 million, a team of over 300 people and backing from trusted partners such as Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., we are here to mark the beginning of change in the sleepy smartphone market.” Phone (1) is ready.”
Now it seems that Pei has unofficially revealed the launch date of the smartphone. In response to a tweet asking about the launch date in India, Pei said, “6/9 at 4:20.” Although he did not give any other information about the phone, but his tweet could mean that the Nothing phone will launch on June 9, 2022 at 4:20 pm US date format. Not much was revealed about the launch event. The company has not yet officially announced the launch date of the Nothing phone.
Possible Specifications of Nothing Phone (1)
While the Carl Pio-led company has not shared any information related to the phone, a new leak shared the phone’s specs on Twitter. According to tipster Raghavendra Singh Jadoun, the Nothing Phone (1) will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz support. The device will come with HDR10+ certification with support for sRGB colors and DCI-P3 color gamut.
The smartphone is speculated to be equipped with Snapdragon 778G SoC. The processor has already been used in phones like Vivo T1 Pro 5G, iQOO Z6 Pro 5G, Realme GT Master Edition and iQOO Z5 5G.
The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to sport a triple camera setup at the back which could include a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there can be a 32-megapixel camera for selfie. The smartphone is expected to house a 4500mAh battery and will support fast charging. It may also include support for wireless charging technology.
