Microsoft India has announced that the latest Surface Pro X with Wi-Fi will now be available in India. Equipped with a custom-built Microsoft processor, the Surface Pro X 2021 has been launched in India, and can be purchased through all major offline and online retailers in India. The tech giant launched the new Surface Pro X Wi-Fi model in September last year as its latest Windows 11-based tablet.
It comes with a 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p HD video. Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Neural Engine, Microsoft Surface Pro X 2021 is slated to offer better performance than the current model. The company’s thinnest and most affordable 13-inch Surface device will be sold through commercial authorized retailers, Reliance Digital stores and its online website.
Microsoft Surface Pro X 2021 price in India
Microsoft Surface Pro X 2021 with Microsoft SQ1 processor and Microsoft SQ2 processor is now available in India in Platinum finish and other configurations. All are Wi-Fi only models.
The Surface Pro X 2021 model with 8GB + 128GB configuration is priced at Rs 94,599. And the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 1,13,299. The Surface Pro X 2021 with Microsoft SQ2 is priced at Rs 1,31,799 for the 16GB + 256GB model and Rs 1,50,499 for the 16GB + 512GB storage model.
For the consumer, the Surface Pro X 2021 with Microsoft SQ1 8GB + 128GB model comes for Rs 93,999. Surface Pro Keyboard and Signature Type Cover are sold separately.
Specifications of Microsoft Surface Pro X 2021
The new Surface Pro X 2021 works on Windows 11 and has 64-bit emulation inbuilt. It has a 13-inch PixelSense display with 2,880×1,920 pixel resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Microsoft SQ1 / Microsoft SQ2 processor co-developed with Qualcomm. The processor is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage. For graphics, it comes with either Microsoft SQ1 Adreno 685 GPU or Microsoft SQ2 Adreno 690 GPU depending on the configuration.
Microsoft claims that the new Surface Pro X 2021 is the thinnest and most affordable 13-inch Surface device. It also has inbuilt Wi-Fi. It comes with inbuilt apps like Microsoft Teams, Office, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Connectivity Features of Microsoft Surface Pro X 2021
Microsoft says that with artificial intelligence and onboard neural engine, its Eye Contact feature helps users adjust their vision over video calls. It has dual far-field studio mix and optimized speakers. The Microsoft Surface Pro X includes two USB Type-C ports and a dedicated Magnetic Surf Link (with additional USB Type-A ports).
Apart from cellular connectivity, the new Surface Pro X comes with accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and ambient light sensor. It also has two stereo speakers with Dolby Audio sound. It is said to offer up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge. It measures 287x208x7.3mm and weighs 774 grams.
