I bought iPhone 12 from Flipkart in Big Billion Days sale, but got Nirma soap, watch video

Flipkart से Big Billion Days सेल में मंगाया iPhone 12, लेकिन मिला Nirma साबुन, देखें वीडियो
There are frequent complaints of fraud or errors in online shopping done through e-commerce portals, which include sometimes finding bricks, soap or any other item inside the box of a smartphone or other device, or sometimes order exchange. An event like a change happens. Another similar incident has come to light, where a person has claimed that he found soap inside the packaging box instead of the iPhone 12. The man bought the new Apple iPhone 12 during the Big Billion Days sale on Flipkart, but says he got soap instead.

Simranpal Singh, who runs his tech blog under the name of GoAndroid, has shared all the information about this incident in his blog. Along with this, he has also posted a video made during delivery on his YouTube channel. Actually, this incident happened on October 4, when Singh got the iPhone 12 bought during the Big Billion Days sale. They have written that due to some delivery frauds that came to light during last year’s sale, they have opted for the open box option at the time of order, in which the customer is first shown the package at the time of delivery and then the customer to register a successful delivery. OTP received in his phone is asked from him. This feature came in very handy for Simranpal Singh.

It can be seen in the video that as soon as the upper packaging was opened, instead of the iPhone 12, two soaps were present in it. After this Simranpal Singh marked this delivery as ‘failed’. Simranpal Singh then called Flipkart support, who claimed that the item is still showing as ‘out for delivery’ and cancellation can be done only if its status is delivered. Flipkart then promised to call back and their delivery boy left with failed delivery.

However, he claims that even after this he received repeated calls for OTP from Wishmaster (delivery partner), which made him feel as a fraud incident rather than a mistake. After this, after several calls from Flipkart, Flipkart finally canceled his order and issued a refund.

Simranpal Singh says that such incidents happen often and he is lucky that he got saved from this fraud. He has further advised everyone that while ordering from Flipkart, definitely choose the option of ‘Open Box Delivery’, so that you can avoid such incidents.<!–
