Velocity had made it to the final on Thursday with a better run rate despite losing to defending champions Trailblazers by 16 runs. The team was given a target of 190 runs. Maharashtra all-rounder Kiran Navgire’s half-century helped Velocity score 174 for nine, needing at least 159 runs for a better run rate to qualify for the final.
