Motor racing, whether of a car or a bike, always thrills the spectators. When speeding vehicles try to overtake each other on a smooth looking road, their speed and engine noise is enough to give goosebumps to anyone. Obviously high speed driving has its own fun and tournaments like Formula One to Moto GP and Dakar Car Rally add to its importance. Now if the speed thrills, then there are seven dangers in it too. A small mistake invites terrible accidents, which sometimes prove to be fatal. Unfortunately, an Indian racer lost his life in one such accident in Chennai.
On Sunday, June 8, a minor collision turned into a major accident during a car race at the famous Madras International Circuit in Chennai, in which a car racer named KE Kumar died. According to the report of English newspaper KE Kumar, veteran racer Kumar was 59 years old and he was participating in the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship.
Car blown up in fierce collision
KE Kumar’s car collided with his rival while trying to cross a turn during the saloon car race being held at Madras Circuit on Sunday morning. Kumar’s white number 10 car was overtaking another racer, but both came very close. The other racer’s car could not reduce its speed and its front part collided with the rear part of Kumar’s car.
Due to this collision, Kumar’s car completely overturned and after sliding out of the race track, hit the boundary wall and was badly damaged. The collision was so fast that the testicles of the car flew away.

The second car also went out of the race track, but luckily its speed had reduced and the balance was not disturbed. That racer stopped his car on the side. The race was stopped immediately after this incident.
Kumar’s life could not be saved
At the same time, an ambulance was immediately sent to save Kumar, who was badly injured in the accident, and he was taken out of the badly mangled car. The medical team available at the racing track gave him first aid, from where he was admitted to a nearby hospital. However, the injury was too much and despite the best efforts of the doctors, Kumar could not be saved. After this incident, all the races of the day were cancelled.
