Whether it is cricket or football or tennis, this thing has always been going on and many times the players have raised their voice against it, but there is nothing to change. The recent case of such remarks has been further victimized by the prestigious Stuttgart Open tournament, Australia’s legendary tennis player Nick Kyrgios. Nick Kierios said he faced racist comments from spectators during his loss to Andy Murray in the semi-finals of the Stuttgart Open tennis tournament. Kirios posted on Instagram after losing 7-6(5), 6-2 to Murray that he heard derogatory comments from spectators in Saturday’s match.
He wrote on Instagram. When will all this stop? Facing racist comments from viewers? I know my behavior is not always the best but comments like black sheep and shut up and play are not acceptable at all. When I answer to the audience, I am punished. This is not correct.
