India’s women’s team, captained by Shefali Verma, won the ICC Under-19 Women’s World Cup title. This is India’s first World Cup win in the women’s category. After this victory, Team India also drowned in celebration. India won the title by defeating England by seven wickets in the final match played on Sunday and then celebrated fiercely.
India bowled first in this match. The bowlers of Team India did not allow England to score big and piled on only 68 runs. Team India achieved this easy target by losing three wickets in 14 overs.
