Cases of corona infection are increasing every day in Tokyo. For the first time since the start of the Tokyo Olympics, more than three thousand new cases of corona have been found in a single day in the capital of Japan. A record of 2,848 new cases was made on Tuesday, but on Wednesday even more new cases have been reported. Tokyo recorded more than 3,000 new Covid-19 infections on Wednesday, July 28, according to officials, the highest figure since the pandemic began in the Japanese capital.

He said that so many cases of corona have come when the Tokyo Olympics is being held in Tokyo under the COVID-19 emergency. 3,177 new cases of corona virus have been registered in Tokyo, which is the highest number of infections in a day so far. Emergency is in force in Tokyo

Corona cases will increase further

According to officials, the Covid-19 cases are expected to rise further in the coming days, as testing may get delayed during the holidays last week. Yuji Kuroiwa, governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo, told reporters, “I think we’ve had a rapid increase in cases, which is what I feared the most.” Kanagawa and surrounding Chiba and Saitama prefectures are seeing a surge in cases.
