Three members of Bengaluru FC, headed by Sunil Chhetri, have come under the grip of this dreaded disease. The team itself gave information about this on social media.

The team won only 5 out of 20 matches, while it had to face defeat in 8 matches. Also 7 matches were drawn. This season too was not a good season for Chhetri and he was able to score 8 goals in 20 matches.
Corona reached Bengaluru FC
Bengaluru FC wrote on Twitter, ‘Three people have been found to be Corona positive, including staff members and players in the Corona Test held at Bengaluru FC’s camp in Goa. Bengaluru FC is taking complete precautions and taking all necessary precautions. The team has not disclosed the names of the players who have been coronaed.
UPDATE: Latest COVID-19 tests within the Blues’ camp in Goa have shown three positive cases among players and staff. Bengaluru FC continues to take all the necessary precautions at the highest levels to stay safe, secure and healthy.

Sunil Chhetri was found corona positive
Some time ago Sunil Chhetri had tweeted that he had become corona. The Indian captain tweeted and said, “Not a good news, I have been found Covid-19 positive. The better news is, I am feeling better and I am continuing my recovery from the virus and will be back on the football pitch soon. This cannot be the right time to remind everyone to take necessary steps for safety.
