India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) is not in the country on this special occasion. He has already traveled to UAE for IPL 2021 two days back. But, everyone is aware of his love and trust for the country and the Indian Army. MS Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings has got the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army. On the 75th Independence Day, a Colonel of the Indian Army, Vembu Shankar has tied bridges of praise for Dhoni. Colonel Shankar has saluted Dhoni’s affection towards the Indian Army and the country.
Chennai Super Kings has shared a video of Colonel Venbu Shankar on their official website, in which he is referring to an incident with Dhoni. In the video, Colonel Shankar is seen saying that Dhoni and the Indian Army are like two sides of the same coin, which cannot be separated.

Colonel of the Indian Army said that MS Dhoni’s marching skills are excellent. He even marches better than him, even though he has been serving in the army for 20 years. Colonel Shankar further said that there is a lot of love between Dhoni and the Indian Army. Whenever I got a chance, this love has also been shown. The current jersey of Chennai Super Kings also has a glimpse of the army’s dress.
Dhoni is currently quarantined in a Dubai hotel with CSK’s platoon. After the end of the quarantine time, he will start preparing for IPL 2021 with his players. The remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021 will start from September 19. The first match is to be held between CSK and Mumbai Indians.
