The Indian Premier League 2021 is just about to end. There are only 2 matches left of the 14th season and Chennai has made it to the final. Now the battle to reach the final is between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. However, fans and veterans from all over the world are also eyeing the 15th season to be held next year between IPL 2021. In fact, next year, 2 new teams will be seen playing in the world’s biggest cricket league, which is going to be bid on 25 October. Although BCCI has issued Invitation to Tender i.e. ITT for this auction from August 31, but BCCI is continuously extending the date of purchase of this Invitation to Tender document. On Wednesday too, the BCCI did the same once again.
Issuing a press release, the BCCI said that on the request of the interested parties, the BCCI has extended the date of purchase of ITT documents till October 20. It is necessary to purchase this document to be included in the bidding and its cost is Rs 10 lakh, which is non-refundable. Meaning BCCI will not refund this amount.
Mega auction for IPL 2022
Let us tell you that there will be a mega auction for IPL 2022 in December and two new teams will also bet on the players. It is believed that the teams of Ahmedabad and Lucknow can be seen in the 15th season. If sources are to be believed, RP-Sanjeev Goenka Group, Aurobindo Pharma Group, Adani Group have shown interest in buying these teams, now it remains to be seen who will become the owner of the two new IPL teams?
