lanka premier league There was chaos in a match when a player reached the hospital after being hit on the head by a ball. This player was none other than Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Azam Khan. This happened when the 16th over of the innings of Kandy Falcons was going on. Sri Lankan bowler Nuwan Pradeep’s ball broke like havoc on him.
Interestingly, Nuwan Pradeep plays for the same team whose head coach is Azam Khan’s father and former Pakistan cricketer Moin Khan. After being injured by Nuwan Pradeep’s ball, Azam Khan was taken out of the field by hanging on a stretcher and then to the hospital for treatment.
Azam Khan’s injury put Moin Khan in tension
Son’s injury has given trouble to the father and the head coach of the team, Moin Khan. But, when he got the news from the hospital that all is well, nothing came out in the scan, he breathed a sigh of relief. Moin also went to the hospital to know about the condition of his son.
The brunt of helmet keeping, out of the next match
Now know when, where and how Azam Khan got hurt? So tell that he got this injury during wicketkeeping. Actually, he was keeping the Sri Lankan bowler Nuwan Pradeep’s ball without a helmet. They have had to suffer just because of that.

Even though nothing has come out of Azam Khan in the scan. But for the time being he will remain under medical supervision. And, in this context, Gaul will not be available for the Gladiators in the next match. Means Gall Gladiators will play their next match in Lanka Premier League without Azam Khan.
Second keeper injured in this way within a week
Please tell that this is the second incident within a week of the wicketkeeper reaching the hospital after being hit by a bowler’s ball on his head. Earlier, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper Muhammad Haris was also injured in a similar way. In a match of the Pakistan Cup tournament, when he was keeping without a helmet, a ball hit him on the upper part of the eye. He got hurt in this but no fracture of any kind came out.
Now exactly the same incident has not happened in Pakistan but it has definitely happened with a Pakistani player. It is expected that he will be completely healthy after coming out of medical supervision.
