It (injury) was unfortunate, Rahane told news agency PTI after an event in Mumbai on Thursday. But my rehabilitation is going well. I am recovering well. I stayed in Bangalore (NCA) for about 10 days and am going there again for rehabilitation and recovery from injury.
Difficult to recover before 7-8 weeks
On his injury and the time of his return, Rahane said that he wants to make a comeback as soon as possible, but it is sure to take time. “Right now my entire focus is only on getting better,” he said. Get fit and get on the field as soon as possible. I don’t know when I will be fully fit, it is expected to take six to eight weeks but at the moment I am focusing on one day at a time, one week at a time.
it’s not good lately
The veteran right-handed batsman has played 82 Test matches for India and was also the vice-captain of the team till the home Test series against New Zealand last year. However, after that this responsibility was withdrawn from him first and then dropped from the team after failing in South Africa. After this the Ranji Trophy season was also not good for him. At the same time, in the recently concluded IPL, Rahane could score only 133 runs in seven matches for KKR but he called it a good experience.
