T20 World Cup 2021 के बाद क्या करेगी टीम इंडिया, BCCI ने किया प्लान तैयार, ये टीमें करेंगी भारत का दौरा

Indian cricket team is busy preparing for the World Cup.

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) playoff is about to begin. Meanwhile, the BCCI’s selection committee meeting is going to be held on Saturday before the T20 World Cup. BCCI has faced many challenges in this season’s IPL. Among these, the performance of Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan is the biggest concern for the board. Both the players are part of the Indian T20 World Cup squad. However, according to the rules of the ICC, the team can be changed till October 10. Because of this, full possibilities are being expressed that the selectors of Team India can also make changes in their World Cup team.

It is being told that the main discussion in the meeting will be focused on Hardik Pandya. The fitness of all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL, has been under question. Many people within the BCCI have questioned his selection. However, he is the only option at the moment as there is no other backup ready as a seam-all-rounder. Ishan Kishan’s form in IPL 2021 Phase 2 has also raised concerns. Some people in the selection committee want to include Shreyas Iyer in the main team.

What can be these changes

Should the team be changed at the last minute? Will the team management agree to drop Ishan Kishan for Shreyas Iyer? Should Rahul Chahar be dropped for Yuzvendra Chahal? All these questions will be discussed in the board’s selectors meeting to be held on Saturday. If Hardik is out, a batsman will be included in his place or Shardul Thakur will be given a chance.

Big discussion can happen on Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal has impressed many with his scintillating bowling performance in the second leg of the IPL and he will be a hot topic of discussion during the meeting. Captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Rohit Sharma, head coach Ravi Shastri will also attend the meeting. Apart from Shastri and BCCI secretary Jay Shah, the selection committee headed by Chetan Sharma will be present in the meeting.

The first match of the T20 World Cup will be played between Oman and Papua New Guinea on October 17. At the same time, the second match will be held between Bangladesh and Scotland on the same day. India will play its first match in the T20 World Cup against Pakistan on 24 October.
