South Africa defeated England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup to make it to the final for the first time, where they will face defending champions Australia.
February 26 is going to be the biggest day in the history of South African cricket as for the first time a South African team at the senior level will play the World Cup final. In the semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 being played at home, South Africa defeated England by 6 runs to make it to the finals. 5 stars played the biggest role in this victory of South Africa. 32-year-old opener Tajmin Brits was elected player of the match in the semi-finals. This right-handed batsman not only scored the maximum 68 runs for the team, but also took 4 catches.
