Sri Lanka’s dominance in the first round can be gauged from the team’s last group match, where Dasun Shanka’s team restricted the Netherlands to just 44 runs, the second lowest score in T20 World Cup history. The special thing is that the record of the lowest score in the history of the tournament is also in the name of Netherlands and that too came against Sri Lanka.
