The International Cricket Council had announced the prize money for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 long ago. Under this, a total of $ 2.45 million i.e. more than Rs 20.31 crore prize money was distributed among all the 10 teams participating in the tournament. The reward just doesn’t end here. Rather, according to the rules, each team will get $ 17,500 i.e. Rs 14.51 lakh for winning a match in the group stage. Australia won all the four matches of the group stage and hence apart from $1 million, it will also get $70,000 (Rs 58 lakh) for winning the group stage. That means a total of Rs 8.87 crore.

South Africa had won three matches in the group stage, so along with 4.14 crores for the final, another 43 lakh rupees will be received. Means Rs 4.57 crore. At the same time, there is a provision of $ 2.10 lakh (Rs 1.74 crore) reward for each team that is eliminated in the semi-finals. India and England had to face defeat in the semi-finals. That is, the same Rs 1.74 crore in the pocket of both the teams. India had won 3 matches in the group stage, so another Rs 43 lakh will be added to it. In this way, a total of Rs 2.17 crore will come into India’s account. On the other hand, England had won all the four matches, so it will get a total of Rs 2.32 crore more than India.
