Indore: The Australian team is currently on a tour of India and is fully prepared for the third Test match. Till now the Australian team has not been able to compete with the Indian team in the first two Test matches. In Nagpur too, he had to face defeat by an innings and 132 runs and then in Delhi too he had to face defeat. Steve Smith is one of the main batsmen of this team but so far he has not been able to do anything special and he himself is very angry with the way Smith was dismissed in the Delhi Test.
Smith will captain the team in the third Test match to be played at the Holkar Stadium as the regular captain of the team, Pat Cummins, has returned home to be with his ailing mother. In such a situation, Smith’s responsibility has increased in the third test. He will have to show the power of his bat, as well as the responsibility of bringing the team back to the series has also fallen on his shoulders.

This did not happen in 95 test matches
Smith had failed miserably in the Delhi Test. He did not even open the account in the first innings and was dismissed after scoring nine runs in the second innings. Ravichandran Ashwin sent him to the pavilion in the second innings. He was lbw. Smith went to play the sweep but the ball hit his pad and he was out. On this, Ashwin now said before the third Test match that he was never as angry at his dismissal as he was in the second innings of the Delhi Test.
He said in the press conference, “I have played 95 (94) Test matches I think and it has not happened very often that I have gone back to the pavilion so angry and I have said to myself what was I doing .I was quite angry. This had never happened in my entire career. I was troubled by what I had done. It was not my best moment. This was something from which I had to learn something. I’m still learning. This is not the way I wanted to play. Especially when the field was wide and I was trying to change the strike. I was a bit hasty. We will talk about this when we meet tomorrow. We have to take things slowly. Can’t do things with high tempo and taking risks.
