In the report, the head of the medical department of SLC, Professor Arjun de Silva, had also said that if his report comes negative on Tuesday, Thushara will be approved to go to Australia along with the rest of the team.
De Silva has also said that no other player of the team had come in contact with Nuwan. If Nuwan is not in the team then it can create trouble for Sri Lanka. However, he has bowlers like Dushmantha Chamira, Lahiru Kumara, Chamika Karunaratne, Binuru Fernando and Shiran Fernando.

Sri Lanka has to play a five-match T20 series on Australia tour. The first match of the series will be played on February 11 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The second T20 match will be played on this ground on February 13. Both the teams will meet on 15 February at the Manuka Oval ground in Canberra. On February 18, the fourth T20 match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. On February 20, both the teams will play the last match at the MCG.
The team will visit India after the Australia tour. On the India tour, he has to participate in the two-match Test series followed by the three-match T20 series.
