The Indian cricket team defeated Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 317 runs in the third ODI match played on Sunday. This is the biggest win in ODI history so far. Batting first, India scored 390 runs losing five wickets. In response, the Sri Lankan team completely bowed down and got piled on 73 runs in 22 overs. In this match, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scored centuries for India. Mohammad Siraj did wonders in bowling. Siraj made headlines not only in bowling but also with his fielding.
Siraj did not let the Sri Lankan batsmen survive in this match. Sri Lanka needed a good start in front of a huge score. Siraj did not allow him to start and kept taking wickets continuously. In this match, Siraj took four wickets for 32 runs in 10 overs. He also bowled a maiden over.

Siraj had taken India towards victory with his sharp bowling in the initial overs. Meanwhile, he surprised everyone with his fielding. Siraj threw the fourth ball of the 12th over to Karunaratne. The batsman played the ball towards the front. The ball came to Siraj, who immediately picked it up and hit it at the striker’s end. Karunaratne was standing after playing the shot that the ball came and he started fumbling to return to the crease. India appealed for run out and the square leg umpire helped the third umpire.
Checked by the third umpire. However, it was a close affair as the batsman’s leg was slightly outside the crease. The third umpire looked at all angles and found that Karunaratne’s leg was slightly outside. That’s why he was given run out.

Siraj did wonders in the whole series
Siraj is the highest wicket taker in this ODI series. He took nine wickets in three matches. He gave 92 runs in these three matches. In this match, Siraj took the wickets of Avishka Fernando, Nuvanindu Fernando, Kusal Mendis and Vanindu Hasaranga.
