On the tour of England, the young and less experienced team led by young captain Shubman Gill is setting some records with every match and every innings. In the Leeds Test, where 5 batsmen scored history by scoring a century. At the same time, in the first innings of Edgbaston Test, captain Shubman Gill changed the record book by scoring a double century. In Leeds, where Jaspreet Bumrah took the record with 5 wickets. At the same time, Mohammad Siraj has done this work in Edgbaston and he has got along with Akash Deep. Both these fast bowlers of Team India created history with all 10 wickets in Edgbaston.

On the third day of the second match of the Test series, Team India all out of England for 407 runs. In this way, Team India got a lead of 180 runs. Despite Jamie Smith and Harry Brook's explosive partnership of more than 300 runs, the team's senior's senior pacer Siraj played an important role in stopping England on this score. Siraj was the most experienced fast bowler in the team in this match in Jasprit Bumrah's absence and he proved it with his performance.

Siraj and Akash Deep's havoc

Siraj took the first wicket at the end of the second day of the match. Then in the second over of the third day, Joe Root and Ben Stokes were dismissed on continuous balls and shook England. After this, in the third session of the day, Siraj also took England's last 3 wickets and thus created history with 6 wickets. Siraj took 5 or more wickets in an innings for the fourth time in his career.

On the other hand, Akash Deep took the remaining 4 wickets. Akash gave both the initial tremors to England on consecutive balls on the second day. Then when Smith and Brook shared a 300 -run partnership and Team India was not getting wickets, then this right -handed pace broke this partnership with a new ball. Akash first took the wickets of Brook and then Chris Woakes.

42 year old history repeated

In this way, Siraj and Akash took all out of all 10 wickets in this innings and all out of England. This charisma of these two bowlers repeated the 42 -year -old history. In fact, this is just the fourth time in the history of Indian cricket, when the opening bowlers (the first two bowlers) took all 10 wickets in an innings. Before the Edgbaston Test, this amazing was seen in 1983 42 years ago, when Kapil Dev and Balwinder Sandhu took all 10 wickets against the West Indies in Ahmedabad. Then Kapil took 9 wickets and Sandhu took 1 wicket.
