IND Vs SL: India’s young fast bowler Shivam Mavi played his debut match on Tuesday. This fast bowler took four wickets in the first T20 against Sri Lanka.

The Indian team management on Tuesday released the young fast bowler for the first T20 match against Sri Lanka. Shivam Mavi Gave a chance to debut. Mavi was included in the Indian team for the first time and he got a chance to debut in the very first series. Mavi lived up to the trust of his captain and management and played an important role in the team’s victory. After winning the team, Shivam Mavi’s pain overflowed and he told what he had to endure in the last six years for this one opportunity.
After the match, Shivam Mavi spoke to bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and narrated his heart condition. Mahambre was the bowling coach of the 2018 World Champion Under-19 team. Mavi was also a part of this team. After that World Cup, Mavi got a chance in IPL but he was constantly injured.
Mavi narrated the heartache
Due to injury in Mavi’s career, there were many ups and downs. He told the bowling coach, ‘I played cricket for a couple of years after the Under-19 World Cup, then I had a lot of injuries. I was playing well in IPL but then got injured. Got very upset at that time. That’s when I decided that I have to increase my fitness level. I worked a lot on that. I got a lot of benefit from it.

Prior to Mavi, his teammates Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw had made their debut for Team India. When Mavi got a chance after a long wait of six years, it seemed like a dream to him. He said, ‘When I came on the field, I felt that my dream came true. This is my first tour and I got a chance to debut on the very first tour. This is not easy. I was waiting for this moment for six years.
Shivam became the hero of Team India’s victory
Mavi made an important contribution to the team’s victory by spending just 22 runs in four overs and achieving four successes. Mavi got off to a great start by dismissing Pathum Nissanka and Dhananjay D’Silva in his first two overs. Pandya handed the ball to Mavi in the 15th over and he justified the captain’s decision by ending Hasaranga’s innings of 21 runs in 10 balls. Mavi achieved his fourth success by dismissing Teekshana in his last over.
