Team India won the first ODI between India and Australia in Mumbai and took a 1-0 lead in the series. After the match, Mohammed Shami has given an important advice to his young partner Mohammed Siraj.

Mumbai: The Indian team defeated Australia by five wickets in the first ODI match played at the Wankhede Stadium. This victory was not easy for Team India because its batsmen disappointed a lot. Team India needed 189 runs to win but India lost its five wickets before 100 runs. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja made the team win by sharing an excellent partnership for the sixth wicket. But in this match, India’s pair of Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj did not allow Australia to score big by bowling brilliantly. After the match, the senior player of the team Shami gave a special advice to Siraj.
Both Siraj and Shami took three wickets each. While Siraj troubled Australia’s top order, Shami took wickets in the middle order and lower order of the visiting team, due to which the Australian team could score only 188 runs in 35.4 overs.

Whenever Siraj takes a wicket, especially when he bowls the batsman, he celebrates by spreading both hands in the air while jumping in the style of great footballer Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo. Shami warned him about this. After the match, Shami and Siraj talked among themselves, the video of which has been uploaded by the BCCI on its website. In this, Shami asks Siraj about his celebration, in response to which Siraj says, “I follow Cristiano and am also a big fan of him. I do that celebration only when it is bold. If there is a catch, I don’t do it like this.
To this Shami replied, “There is a suggestion. It is good that you are his fan. But as a fast bowler, you should avoid taking jumps.

India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the first match. The second match of the series is now to be played in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Winning this match, the Indian team would like to name the series. At the same time, the Australian team will be trying to return to the series and would like to win this match under any circumstances.
