Team India’s rising star created history by playing an inning of 208 runs against New Zealand. Gill played the biggest innings of his career in 149 balls and also broke many big records. (AFP)
Gill became the youngest batsman in the world to score a double century in ODI cricket. By doing this amazing at the age of just 23 years and 132 days, Shubman broke the record of his own partner Ishan Kishan, who made this record last month at the age of 24 years, 145 days. (PTI)
Not only this, Shubman Gill became the batsman to play the biggest innings in ODI against New Zealand. In this case, Gill broke the record of great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who scored an unbeaten 186 in 1999, 23 years ago in Hyderabad itself. (PTI)
