He played 14 matches in which he took 12 wickets. He bowled 306 balls and gave 376 runs at an economy rate of 7.37. He proved to be an important bowler of the Punjab Kings. Punjab Kings will play their first match in IPL this year against Rajasthan Royals on April 12 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Like Anil Kumble, Bishnoi started his career as a medium pacer, but the Jodhpur coach turned his path towards spin. Bishnoi is not only dependent on leg spin, he also puts a good googly. Two years ago, Bishnoi played in the Cooch Behar Trophy for Rajasthan. In this tournament, he performed brilliantly and took 47 wickets. After this, he played in the Veenu Mankad Trophy and also took 22 wickets here, so that the eyes of the selectors were on him. It was due to his performance that he made a place in the Indian Under-19 team. He became the highest wicket-taker in this tournament. This was the reason that the Punjab Kings bought him for a huge amount of two crore rupees in the auction.
