The BCCI official also said that Hardik Pandya is not fit to play Test matches on this occasion as that format requires more fitness. He said, ‘Hardik Pandya will take time to play the Test format. We don’t want to rush because the next World Cup is about to come. If he passes the fitness test, he will be given a chance in the ODI and T20 series against South Africa.
Dravid still trusts Pandya
According to the report, head coach Rahul Dravid still considers Hardik Pandya to be the top all-rounder of Team India, so the doors of the team are open for him. Dravid wants Pandya to complete the recovery program at the NCA. After that they pass the fitness test before the selection meeting.
