The first season saw a lack of consistency in the earning but in the 2019-20 season this left-arm fast bowler performed well and took 41 wickets in eight matches. This season, he took five wickets in an innings three times. He played a big role in reaching Gujarat in the semi-finals this season. In the 2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy too, he showed amazing with the ball. He took the team to the semi-finals with 19 wickets in seven matches.
