After the Test series, the teams of Pakistan and New Zealand are clashing in the ODI series. The first match of this series took place on Monday. Everyone’s eyes are on Pakistan in this series because this team has been badly defeated in the Test series at home. Now this team will try to compensate in ODIs and for this a good start is necessary. Pakistan is not counted among those teams whose fielding is excellent. But in the first match being played in Karachi against New Zealand, a Pakistani player has taken an excellent catch.
In this match, Pakistan captain Babar Azam decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Pakistan’s bowlers kept the New Zealand batsmen tied and did not allow them to score big. Batting first, the New Zealand team was able to score only 255 runs losing nine wickets.
Salman did amazing
This score of New Zealand could have been more but Pakistan’s fielder Salman Agha took such a brilliant catch that the Kiwi team got a big blow. With his catch, he showed the way to the pavilion to the New Zealand batsman and then from here the match turned towards Pakistan. This batsman was Finn Allen. Opener Allen seemed to be set and if he had come in his color, he would have rained runs in a stormy fashion, but before that he returned to the pavilion.
Mohammad Wasim Jr. was bowling the eighth over. Wasim bowled the ball slightly short of the off-stump line which came up to Allen’s waist. On this, the batsman played the shot towards the covers. His attempt was to remove the ball from the fielder Salman standing there. The ball was also going from the right side of Salman, but this fielder ended Allen’s innings by hitting the full length dive and catching the ball in the air itself. Allen scored 29 runs off 27 balls. After seeing this catch, even Allen could not believe that he was out.
