South Africa batsman Quinton De Kock is a constant target of fans. In the second ODI against Pakistan, the way Fakhar Zaman (Fakhar Zaman) got runout due to D Cock is telling him cheating fans and questioning the South African wicket-keeper batsman. However, in the midst of all this, DeKock is joined by his fellow player Tabrez Shamsi, who has given a befitting reply to the fans on Twitter.
South Africa had given a target of 341 runs, but Pakistan fell 5 wickets soon. Fakhar Zaman remained on one end and took the match to the end. Pakistan needed 31 runs to win in the last over and Fakhar Zaman was close to his double century by scoring 192 runs. On the first ball of the over, when Fakhar was going back with a second run, wicketkeeper D Cock bowled to bowler Lungi Angidi but fielder Aidan Mercram threw the ball from the other side which went straight to the stumps and Fakhar was out.
Tabrez Shamsi clarified by tweeting
Tabrez Shamsi wrote on his official Twitter account, ‘I just want to make it clear that neither De Kock was speaking or pointing to the batsman, he was backing a fielder to the non-striker end Was asking for There is no mistake of De Cock in that the batsman was looking back instead of completing his run, which the batsman should have done. Stop spreading hate and leave Quinton de Kock alone.
Just 2 clarify
QDK was NOT speaking 2 or pointing at the batsman,he was asking a fielder to back up at the non strikers end
Not Quinnys fault the batman turned around 2 see instead of completing the run safely which he should have done
Stop the hate n Leave QDK alone#Peace
