Special advice from Mahi bhai
The video of this conversation between Pandya and Karthik has been uploaded on BCCI TV. In this conversation, Pandya said, “In my early days, I asked a question to Mahi Bhai. I asked him how he deals with pressure and he gave very simple advice. He said that ‘Stop thinking about your score and think what is the need of the team.’
Said this about captaincy
Pandya has been made the captain of the team for the tour of Ireland. He captained the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022 and won the team the title in the very first season. Pandya said that his focus is more on the game and not on which team he is playing for. He said, “Nothing has changed because I started playing for the team whose symbol is on my chest. I want to get better with time. I want to work with the same consistency as I did for Gujarat.”
