Dubai: The Indian team is currently playing the third and last ODI against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Bad news has come for Team India and one of its players during this match itself. This player has suffered a big loss in the latest ICC rankings. This player is fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. Siraj was the number-1 bowler in ODIs, but during the third match, when the ICC released the latest rankings of ODI bowlers, Siraj’s first position was snatched away. Siraj has to bear this loss only because of the Australian player.
Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has removed Siraj from the number-1 position in the ODI rankings. Now Hazelwood is the number-1 bowler and Siraj has come at number three. New Zealand’s Trent Boult is at number two. Australia’s left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc is jointly at number three with Siraj. Hazlewood has not come on India tour but still he has sat on the number-1 chair.
