Recently, a picture of Pakistan Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is becoming quite viral on social media. In this picture, Rizwan is carrying a white pillow with him and is going to Dubai airport. The team left for Bangladesh from here. After this picture surfaced, there was a discussion on social media about Rizwan. Everyone in their own way was giving the reason why Rizwan is carrying this pillow. Now Rizwan himself has clarified on this matter and has told why he was carrying a pillow with him.
Rizwan has told in an interview to a YouTube channel why he was carrying a pillow. This interview has been shared by Pakistan Cricket on its official Twitter. He said, “On the pillow issue, this is my medical pillow that I use to support my neck because as a wicketkeeper, I always have neck problems because I am constantly wearing a helmet while wicketkeeping and batting. I wear Due to this many times the neck muscles become tight. That’s why I use a medicated pillow so that I can sleep comfortably. You know that when you are recovering, it is important to get good sleep.”

Rizwan said that he does not want to take any risk and hence always carries a pillow with him. He said, “Many a times, you see me traveling with that pillow because I cannot take any kind of risk. I can’t even pass a night without this pillow. That’s why I always carry it with me so that there is no problem.”

Pakistan’s team was eliminated after losing to Australia in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup-2021. Rizwan was admitted to the hospital before this match. He told ‘Cricbuzz’, ‘I am better now. Had trouble breathing in Dubai but am fine now and will start practicing from tomorrow. Doctors and physio have advised me rest and I am doing the same.
