Manish Pandey’s journey on the IPL track started with the first season of this league, when Mumbai Indians had linked him. But, Pandeyji, who was then anonymous, got the name while playing for RCB in the next season of IPL i.e. 2009. He became the first Indian to score a century in this league while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore on 21 May 2009. Then Pandey played an unbeaten innings of 114 runs.

Kolkata Knight Riders placed a bet on Manish Pandey in the 2014 season. And, the result was also good for him. He played the lead role in making KKR the champion. Manish Pandey scored 94 runs in the final match played against Kings XI Punjab and became the hero of the match.

For Sunrisers, Manish Pandey plays the anchor role in the middle order. Pandey scored 284 runs in 15 matches in IPL 2018 and 344 runs in 12 matches in IPL 2019. In IPL 2020, he scored 425 runs in 16 matches with 3 half-centuries. If you look at the amazing work done in Pandeyji’s entire IPL career, he has scored 3268 runs in 146 matches with the bat, including 1 century and 18 half-centuries.
