South African fast bowler Rabada has taken 61 wickets in 3 IPL seasons played for Delhi Capitals so far.
Rabada means trust of Delhi
Kagiso Rabada means the trumpcard of Delhi Capitals on the IPL pitch. The player whom the Delhi franchise does not want to lose at any cost. Whose importance and strength is well known. That is why the Delhi franchise has not left Rabada’s hand once since IPL 2017. There were roadblocks but it did not affect the franchise’s thinking about Rabada. And, Rabada also met the confidence of the franchise owners on the ground.
It is talked about when Delhi Capitals used to be Delhi Daredevils. The year 2017, when Rabada entered the IPL for the first time. The Delhi franchise added him to sleep. In the next year i.e. in the year 2018, if the players had a mega auction, then in that too, Delhi did not let South Africa’s Star Pacer go by hand. However, this year, Rabada could not play the entire season due to back injury.
Led Delhi to the playoffs in 2019
It did not mean that Delhi left Rabada with it. The next year, in 2019, he retained him again. In IPL 2019, Rabada went on to play international matches for South Africa on national duty after playing 12 matches. But, before leaving he went to do his work. One, he took 25 wickets and earned the title of the second most successful bowler in his credit season and secondly because of his performance, Delhi franchise playoff ticket was also successful for the first time after 2012.
Gave Delhi a ticket to the finals in 2020
IPL 2020, this was the only season of Rabada’s career, in which he played all the games. This season, Rabada took 30 wickets in 17 matches and became the Purple Cap winner for the first time. The effect of this blistering performance of Rabada was that Delhi not only reached the play-off for the second time in a row, but this time also played the final.
61 wickets in 3 seasons of IPL
In this way, South African fast bowler Rabada has taken 61 wickets in 3 IPL seasons played for Delhi Capitals so far. Due to the impact of his performance, he is successful in getting Delhi a playoff ticket. But, this time he must have been seeking the title of Dil Meer of Delhi. Hopefully, Rabada will be able to live up to this belief of the franchise.
