Jasprit Bumrah is currently one of the best bowlers in the world. His strange action remains a headache for the batsmen. Playing him has proved to be a difficult task for many batsmen. At this time Bumrah is suffering from injury and that is why he could not play in the ICC T20 World Cup. Bumrah is recovering from injury and in the meantime he is celebrating his 27th birthday. Today is Bumrah’s birthday i.e. on 6th December.
Bumrah made headlines from IPL-2013. Here he worked on his bowling with Lasith Malinga and like him he became an expert in bowling yorkers. The specialty of Bumrah is that he bowls more in the blockhole. On the basis of his different action and such accurate, deadly bowling from above, Bumrah has got his name written among the dangerous bowlers of today’s time, but Bumrah’s journey till here has not been easy.
Lost father at the age of 5
Bumrah had lost his father at the age of just five. But his mother Daljit Bumrah did not give up and continued to pursue her son. In the midst of financial crisis, he made his son a cricketer. There was a time when Bumrah had only one pair of shoes and one pair of T-shirts which Bumrah used to wash and dry every day so that it could be worn the next day.
In 2019, Bumrah’s IPL franchise Mumbai Indians posted a video on their Twitter. In this video, Bumrah and his mother told this story. Bumrah had told, after this (after losing the father), we could not afford anything. I had a pair of shoes. I had a pair of T-shirts, I used to wash them every day so that I could wear them again.
Talent can come from anywhere and reach the pinnacle of success.

Team India arrived from IPL
In 2013, Bumrah wore the Mumbai Indians jersey in the IPL. After this, he was about to come to Team India that injury surrounded him. At the end of 2014, he suffered a knee injury and that is why he was out for four and a half months. After this, it took more than a year for him to get a call again for Team India. Mohammed Shami was injured and hence Bumrah got a chance and this player made Australia fly. India won the three-match T20 series 3–0 there and Bumrah became the highest wicket-taker in the series.
