Under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, the performance of Gujarat Titans has been very good. In its very first season, the team has qualified in the playoffs while it still has two matches left. But former cricketer Ajay Jadeja has said a big thing on Pandya.
The performance of Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League 2022 has been really amazing. Despite being a new franchise, a new team, Gujarat Titans reached the playoffs first. One of the major reasons for the success of this team was the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. Whose cool personality gave freedom to the players to play freely and this is the reason that this team is currently on the cusp of the points table. However, in the meantime Ajay Jadeja, one of Hardik Pandya’s biggest fans, has raised questions on him. Ajay Jadeja termed Hardik Pandya as mean in gestures.
Ajay Jadeja said a big thing on Hardik Pandya in a conversation with Cricbuzz. Ajay Jadeja said that he himself is responsible for the condition in which Hardik Pandya is now. Let us tell you that Hardik Pandya is not fully fit yet and after bowling in the initial matches, he was not able to run properly in the next few matches.
Pandya has put Gujarat Titans in trouble!
Ajay Jadeja said, ‘Hardik is responsible for this. Everyone knew that he was injured and was making a comeback. He covered 140 kms. Bowled at an hourly pace. Maybe his team didn’t need it. But he did all this for show. He wanted to prove his critics wrong. He put so much load on his body. Now he is not even able to run properly.
Jadeja further said, ‘He is in that phase of his life where he is learning. A player slowly understands his limitations and once again he has shown immaturity. Hardik Pandya had 14 matches to prove himself but he hastened to show people. Now Gujarat Titans is getting this expensive. You must know your body. You could not work according to others. Hardik Pandya is really immature.
Hardik Pandya’s form gone!
Hardik Pandya started IPL 2022 very well but now he is not fully fit and he himself has to bear the brunt of it. The Gujarat captain has been a flop in the last five matches. Pandya, who has scored three consecutive half-centuries, has been able to score only 49 runs in the last five innings. Pandya’s best score during this period has been 24 runs. It is clear that Pandya will have to understand this at the earliest. Because if he becomes completely unfit in the playoffs, then Gujarat Titans may have to be given to take it.
