IPL 2021 went badly for David Warner. If he failed in batting, he could not even inspire the team under the captaincy. Because of this, his captaincy was taken away. In his place, Kane Williamson was made the captain of Hyderabad. Hyderabad teams were at the bottom of the points table until the IPL was suspended. He had won only one out of seven matches. At the same time, Warner played six matches and scored 193 runs. He scored two half-centuries but after IPL 2013, this time his batting was the worst. Due to this, Warner was also removed from the playing eleven. He was the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2015. In IPL 2016, he also made the team the IPL champion.
